We’re often horrified by the stories candidates tell us about how they’ve been treated by recruitment agencies – everything from absolutely no acknowledgement to an application, to an urgent call at 10 in the evening asking for an updated CV immediately, then never hearing from the company again. Or a “consultant” who claims to be highly experienced in recruiting on the job role, but actually knows nothing more than how to keyword search through a pile of CVs.
At PCR we will never claim to be anything we’re not. If we tell you we’re working exclusively with the client to find the right person – then we are. If we tell you we’re going to put you forward for a role – then we will, and you’ll receive detailed feedback from us, good or bad, every step of the way. If we’re not successful in finding you the right opportunity first time, we’ll keep working with you until we do: for our contract candidates we’ll aim to develop a long term relationship with you, presenting you with new opportunities when we know your current contract may be coming to an end : for permanent candidates we’ll keep closely in touch as you settle in to your new position and then check in with you regularly as you progress in your career.
The fact that all of our consultants really are experts in their sector also means you will be talking to someone who understands not only your aspirations, but also your language and what the opportunity could really mean for you and your career.
