Recruitment Directors Networking Event

I attended a networking event for recruitment company directors on Thursday 26th April.

The events main focus was the economic outlook for 2012/13 in the UK and Eurozone and the potential impact this has on recruitment companies - so it wasn't the most uplifting session! 

There was a clear prediction from a guest expert speaker of an economic meltdown in the Eurozone sooner rather than later. But this is dependant on the outcome of the elections in European countries in early May. 

However the event as a whole was really useful as a reality check on the importance of staying specialist as a company and keeping close to our candidates and clients in tough and challenging times. 

The good news is that PCR's key focus areas continue to be areas of growth in the economy, and that knowing your candidates in a skill-short market is the key to success, which has always been our forte. 

So not quite batten down the hatches, more enjoy the ride!!
